Rando had taken the day to leave the house, Sasuga was busy in demon world and he was growing a bit restless in the warming weather. The shifter moved through the city streets easily, disguised as a normal human he had observed, walking about and milling through the crowds was something that he found amusing all by itself, that depending on how you looked the humans treated you differently. Take on the form of an attractive human woman and the sea would part for you, except for the boys that thought they were pulling the wool over your eyes when they bumped into you, funnily enough the same reaction without the attention from perverts was given to you when you looked like a filthy bum, though then the looks were ones of disgust rather than a painful admiration or lust.
And now disguised as someone average he was bumped and pushed, once he detected a clever and talented pick pocket reaching into his pocket, but the demon carried nothing on him so the hand pulled back fruitless. He enjoyed feeling like he meant nothing and a smile crept onto his face slowly, the only time he felt free to show emotion was when he was being ignored.
Rando had been out for hours, when he felt a slight surge of demonic energy. He looked up, scared for a moment that it was someone from his past, but caught glimpse of a familiar black shape leaping across the roofs unbeknownst and too fast for the humans to register. He pushed through the throng of people, smirking as he called out in anger at him and when he broke free of the crowd he turned the corner bumping into Hiei, grabbing his arm in the process. He wasn’t sure why he was excited to see him, other than it was someone different that he knew. And with his average human face he stared at Hiei.
